About the Chapter

What is the Tampa Bay WPO?

  • We are one of the eighty-plus WPO Chapters located globally. www.womenpresidentsorg.com
  • We meet monthly to work on member business issues in a confidential peer setting and focus on leadership, business growth, and peer engagement.
  • We are comprised of diverse, yet non-competing, businesses.
  • We use a professional facilitator to guide our Chapter and to lead our meetings. She uses a variety of facilitative techniques to help us engage with each other in a confidential and supportive setting at our monthly meetings.
  • Each member is a woman President, CEO, Company Chair, or Managing Partner who has guided her business to annual revenues of at least $1 million dollars for service-driven businesses or $2 million for product driven businesses.

Membership Criteria

What Are the Membership Criteria?

We have 5 key criteria:

  1. You are the owner, or an owner/managing partner, of your company
  2. You make the strategic financial, personnel, and marketing decisions for your company?
  3. Your Company Annual Gross Revenue Range is:
  • $1 million or more (for service driven business)
  • $2 million or more (for product-driven business)
  • If commission based, annual gross contract revenues is $5 million or more.. This criterion based on estimate of 20% of commissions yielding the $1 million in revenue required for service businesses.
  1. You are committed to attend a minimum of nine out of twelve Chapter meetings a year.
  2. You are willing to share your experiences and spend time supporting the other members in the Chapter?
